Why should I get a facial fat transfer?

Facial fat transfer is a great alternative for restoration of lost volume with aging to fillers. This involves using your own tissue as opposed to a foreign chemical, and can restore some of the volume that we lose naturally, as we age.

Hyaluronic acid based fillers are a great temporary solution, but can be expensive when large volumes are needed to achieve a given result. These products also may not be suitable for patients with allergy, or sensitivity to hyaluronic acid. HA filler products are temporary and will only last for a period of 18 to 24 months in the best of circumstances. Patients looking for a more permanent solution to their volume loss are excellent candidates for facial fat transfer.

Lastly, in a patient who has lost facial volume, but still has considerable fat stores in the abdomen or lower body, there’s an added benefit with simultaneous body contouring. Say goodbye to your lower belly pooch, and hello to your new face.
